I heard that if you move your thumb while speaking, you stutter less! I am wondering that this effect has to do with the fact that the finger regions are close to the speech and language areas?
oh oh, sounds like another one those fake helps... ever heard that one that to talk in rhytm would help too, or how about walking naked in the moonlight... or how about if I make up a new one... send 50 euros to my bank account and I guarantee your stuttering will be better tomorrow ;-)) Everything helps for a very short while as long as you believe it does, that's how secondary symptoms get started a lot (twisting your head, tapping fingers, etc...) the problem is that all that stuff makes the stuttering worse in the end not better...
